Dolphins Trade Brandon Marshall to Chicago Bears!
Search for Sports Apps! The Miami Dolphiins have traded Brandon Marshall to the Chicago Bears for two 3rd round draft picks.
Marshall was due a hefty $27.5 million over the next three years, but apparently Dolphins Coach Joe Philbin did not see Brandon as part of the plan. This trade frees up almost $6 million in cap space, and the Dolphins are somewhere around $16 million in total under the cap.
This also leads to more Miami Dolphin speculation about Reggie Wayne and Peyton Manning too.
So what about the Chicago Bears, how did they make out?

Let’s look at a few facts on Brandon Marshall:
- 494 career receptions in six NFL seasons.
- Set NFL single -game record of 21 receptions in 2009
- Game Breaker and Pro Bowler
- Behavior issues could cause trouble in locker room
Seems like a pretty good fit to us. Brandon Marshall has shared some of his mental health issues with the press by talking about his struggle with BPD (borderline personality disorder), but this could also be part of the reason he is such a monster on the field too.
What matter most is what the fans think, and there are a lot of Bears fans here at LockerSmash. Let it be known that ALL of them are excited about this trade. At the end of the day Marshall is a play-maker, and that is exactly what the Chicago Bears need!
What do you fans out there think, was this a smart trade for the Bears?
