Kentucky vs. Kansas National Title Game Tonight
Search for Sports Apps! Tonight’s NCAA Championship match-up between the Kentucky Wildcats and Kansas Jayhawks is sure to be an instant classic.
Here is a look at Monday night’s national championship game:
KENTUCKY
Anthony Davis is a monster! The AP Player of the Year scored 18 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks in the win over Louisville. Davis is a dominating presence, and is sure to add to his highlight reel tonight. The guy is just a hard worker, and very mature for a freshman.
Even if by some fluke chance Anthony Davis has an off nigh, Kentucky’s roster is still loaded with NBA-level talent. John Calipari knows how to get the most out of his players. Coach Calipari’s has been in the final four three times, and made it to one championship game, but he has yet to win the the title.
KANSAS
In a season that started with low expectations, the Kansas Jayhawks just seem to be getting better and better. This season has that “destiny” feeling to it, like nothing can stop this team from taking it all.
Thomas Robinson is the star that took over the semifinal game, finishing with 19 points and eight rebounds. It was his dominating presence inside that allowed the Jayhawks to finish with a 42-30 rebound advantage and paralyzed Ohio State’s Jared Sullinger and Deshaun Thomas. This matchup has him fighting against Davis, his competition for national player of the year. Do you think he has something to prove? We do!
Another great coach here too. Bill Self already has a title, and was named the 2012 Naismith College Coach of the Year. He is 3-0 in his two Final Four appearances, and the current version of the Jayhawks just keep finding way to win.
