Bulls Out of the Picture? Bull$&*#!
Search for Sports Apps! The Chicago Bulls obviously suffered a serious blow to their championship hopes following consecutive years leading the NBA in regular season wins when Derrick Rose suffered a season-ending injury in game one of their first playoff series. Even before that, few gave them much of a shot at getting past the Miami Heat and coming out of the East. Now, they rarely even pop up in NBA playoff discussions. Are they done? Should they be proud of their regular season record and let it go at that?
Hell, no!
Most fans know how great their defense is, and how they struggle mightily to score at times, even when Rose plays. Now, those seemingly endless stretches when the basket seems to be the size of a paper cup may indeed become even more pronounced. But this Bulls team has found a way to win – even with multiple injuries to key players for extended periods. Despite all this, the Bulls still led the league in points differential at +8.2. In fact, in games without Rose, that number only dropped to +7.6, a full 1.6 better than that other East juggernaut, the Heat.
So, the Bulls will grind on through the playoffs – as they have all year. They know how to get the job done, even when their mega-star is forced to the bench. They have proven that heart and will, along with a generous helping of talent, can rule the regular season. The NBA playoffs are a different animal, for sure, but these guys still have a lot to say – maybe even the LAST word.
Count them out now? No – play the games!
