Mike Shanahan — Washington Redskins head coach — has already declared that their first round, No. 2 draft pick — Robert Griffin III — will be their starter in the first game of the 2012-2013 NFL season, in September.

It’s being reported that Shanahan is in love with Griffin III after watching five practices of the rookie QB — over the past 3 days. Shanahan told reporters, on Sunday, that “He’s the starter. Period.”

It’s being said that Griffin III has made a good impression on coach Shanahan when he took to the practice field on Friday, as the rookie was able to make perfect play calls in the huddles — something Shanahan says he’s never had in any mimicamps he’s been apart off.
