Reeves Nelson and the $10 Million Dollar No Pee Pee
Search for Sports Apps! Ever wonder what would happen if a major sports publication like Sports Illustrated ever accused a former UCLA basketball star like Reeves Nelson for pee pee in teammate’s bed?
Well it happened, and Nelson has filed a $10 Million Dollar lawsuit over it.
The article in question claimed that UCLA Coach Ben Howland allowed Reeves to do pretty much whatever he wanted because he was producing on the court. It went on to say that he gave a teammate a black eye, injured others intentionally, and even urinated on the bed and clothes of fellow players.
The lawsuit was filed to prove that the writer of the article recklessly and negligently failed to investigate the claims made in the article. It even has declarations from 18 UCLA players and ex-players who deny all of the allegations against Nelson.
It sounds to us like the writer had an axe to grind with either Nelson, or UCLA. Either way, you can’t make accusations like that without some kind of credible source to back it up……unless you have $10 million dollars to burn.
Reeves Nelson has been playing in Lithuania and prepping for the upcoming NBA draft.
