Eli Manning works drive-thru at Dunkin’ Donuts
Search for Sports Apps! It’s been a busy and newsworthy last couple of months for Eli Manning. He’s appeared on “Saturday Night Live,” hobnobbed with President Obama at the White House, and thrown the first pitch at a Mets game.
His latest off-field act has him strapping on a headset and … well, doing something no other two-time Super Bowl MVP has done before.
On Tuesday morning, shortly after signing a promotional deal with the company, Manning worked the drive-thru window at a New York-based Dunkin’ Donuts, dishing out coffee and assorted edibles to unsuspecting, groggy-eyed motorists.
This seems to be becoming an unusual trend around the NFL. Earlier this offseason, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski also chipped in a shift at DD.
Minimum wage shouldn’t be an issue for Eli; he’s pulled in roughly $26.6 million over the last year, ranking him No. 30 on Forbes’ list of highest-paid athletes.
