Stanley Cup Trophy Gets Smashed in Hermosa Beach?
Search for Sports Apps! Okay, so the trophy itself did not get smashed, but we are pretty sure some LA Kings players and fans had a really good time after the game.
The team took the Stanley Cup to the North End Bar & Grill in Hermosa Beach to celebrate victory. (TMZ)
The North End manager, Ron Civlei, is a lifelong Kings fan and enjoys that the players are supported at his bar. Ron says the players are very down to earth:
“They are not like any other pro athlete……When they go around town, they don’t throw their money around… they don’t ask for special service, and most players drive around modest cars.”
Hopefully the Stanley Cup made it home in one piece, but I am sure there are a few aspirin being taken today in the city of Los Angeles.
