With just over 2 weeks and a handful of games left in the regular season, CoolStandings.com has run thousands of simulations for the remainder of the season for every major league team. Based on how well a team has played to date, they have determined every team’s chances of making the playoffs.

Here, courtesy of BusinessInsider, are the chances of the top 18 teams.

The top 5 spots are virtually locked, while the next 2 (the Yankees and A’s) would have to undergo epic collapses to fall out.

Of course, the real games still have to be played – and strange things can still happen (see 2011)!
