Crash Mars NASCAR’s Good Sam Roadside Assistance 500 (Video)
Search for Sports Apps! As many as 25 cars were involved in a dramatic crash on the last lap of the Good Sam Roadside Assistance 500 at the Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday.
Tony Stewart accepted the blame for the pileup that began when his car flipped into the air following contact with the car driven by Michael Waltrip. Cars driven by Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson, Greg Biffle, Jeff Gordon and many others ended up junked to barely driveable to slightly battered. Remarkably, no one was injured.
Except for race-winner Matt Kenseth and ninth-place Ryan Newman, every top-10-finisher was involved to some extent.
The crash begins at about 1:30 of the video.
