Search for Sports Apps! Austin Rehkow of Central Valley High School in Spokane, Washington kicked a 67 yard field goal against Shadle Park Thursday night. The Washington state record-breaker tied the game with just a few seconds left sending it into overtime, Central Valley eventually winning 65-55.
The previous Washington state record was 62 yards.
The longest field goal in recorded American football history is 69 yards, set by Ove Johansson in 1976. The longest regular season NFL field goal is 63 yards, while the NCAA record is also 67 yards.
