Prolific Youth Football Star Sam Gordon Wheaties Box Revealed (Video)

The 9 year-old Utah youth football star can now add yet another highlight to her athletic resume. Already the most dominating force in her mostly-boys football league, Sam has become the first female football player to have her image appear on the front of a Wheaties box.
Sam appeared on SportsCenter and Good Morning America today to reveal the new Wheaties box and share her own thoughts on her sudden celebrity. She was also a guest on ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown show before the 49ers-Bears game at Candlestick Park.
Her football achievements (35 touchdowns, 1,911 yards rushing and 65 tackles on defense) were spotlighted in a video uploaded to YouTube by her father earlier this fall. Although Sam is famous for American football, her first sports love turns out to be the sport known world-wide as football – soccer.
