Chip Beck and David Duval (two of the five players who have shot a 59) weren’t “done” either. Just a little more work and they would be back. Are they back? Woods may win again, but he is absolutely finished as the dominant player on Tour. His intimidation factor is gone. Nobody is afraid of him anymore. The field doesn’t fold in the last round likie it used to. And finally, his putting has slipped. When that happens to a 36 year old golfer, he is not “coming back.” It happens to them all. And it is happening to Woods. Good riddance to the biggest A-hole to ever play the game.
